Hey everyone, here is a recap video of my 2025 mural at Daylor High School of South Sacramento- The theme of owls and sunflowers is reflective of the school mascot (owls) as well as the resilience and growth of the students (sunflowers). The video also features a short interview of Justine Fuller, the school principle as well as a glimpse of the 1st mural I completed on the same campus in 2023.

SJCOE MURAL PROJECT 2025

The following 5 murals are a part of a series of murals commissioned by the San Joaquin County Office of Education for their network of “ONE.” schools. This project originally began in 2022 with 3 murals at separate schools located in Lodi, Lathrop, and Stockton, CA and has continued in 2025 with an additional 5 murals located in Stockton, Tracy, and Manteca, CA. The process for each mural involved a consultation with students in which I visited class rooms at each different school and asked students various questions in order to invoke inspirational notes from them toward the murals. Once the sketches were complete, I then returned to each school and projected the sketches to the walls for the students to assist in filling in the colors. Each mural was completed within 3-5 days with the help of the students.
